Hello! I'm Sophia, a homeschooling advocate from London with Jamaican roots. As a single mother, I've guided my three children through their unique homeschooling journeys. My eldest is thriving in medical science at university, my second son is back to homeschooling while working and learning to drive and my daughter is transitioning to 6th form after a decade of homeschooling.
With a teaching background, I'm passionate about tailored education. I became a qualified primary school teacher in 2005. In 2008, I gave my life to Christ, embraced faith, infusing my journey with purpose and a biblical foundation.
Now, through 1Point3Academy, I'm thrilled to share my experiences and resources. Our community supports mums navigating the homeschooling adventure, emphasising character development, personal growth and a faith-based education.
