It was worth experimenting with @hormozie company here at Skool, but I feel it's only an aggregator of customer behaviors and contacts like Meta with no safety guards, an appeal process, or a money-back guarantee. So if you invested your time into a community the actor/organizer can ban you at any time. Even when you bring value. This is a funnel into their business and honestly no value to society. This model is not representative of our nonprofit and what we stand for. Please look me up on social media or contact me directly good luck, everyone. Opportunity came up🙏(long shot)
So yesterday for fathers day I sent out may 150+/- text wishing the contacts on my phone a happy fathers day weekend. One of the landlords that I referred homeless assistance renters to (4-5 years ago) sent a response and requested a meeting today at 4pm. He called and wanted to know more about my nonprofit I explained to him, and we starting chit chatting about passed dealing and opportunities we passed on during covid (60 unit hotel with 7 structures, 3 unused $10M ask/or $13k/mo seller financed in 2020). So I explained the mission of my nonprofit and how I saw affordable housing development was something I was aspiring to for my org, but didn't have the capital for the land and soft costs. He lets me know he has a small property attached to one of his apartment building, but he was denied from the city to develop it and let me know he has another 4 acres to develop around 40 units per acre (its what he was told could be built). He's sending over the APNM's so I can create a proposal to take to the city and see what they want to see us build there and if affordable housing can fit this box. If you pray me I'm just asking if you could add that I have the wisdom, and perseverance to get the knowledge I need to get this to the finish line. New housing for struggling families could be meet. IT's a bigger problem than just theses units but its a start in the right direction. Thanks for taking the time to read this post, and adding me to your prayers.
