If you didn’t know, I’ve been running a 150+ kid before-school and after-school program. When we have 80+ kids running around and playing, a hierarchy ALWAYS forms! The cool thing is it’s structured differently based on the activities/games we’re playing that day. The issues come when the kids at the top of the hierarchy absolutely dominate the game to the point the kids that aren’t as good no longer want to participate. Once this happens, their focus generally shifts to ruining the game for everyone else. We’ll have 60 kids loving life having a blast playing the game while 30 kids are upset, angry, and determined to end the game as quickly as possible. When I’ve asked these kids why they’re doing that their responses are always along the lines of, “I don’t even have a chance at winning here… and I know I’m not going to win the other game either, but at least I’m not one of the worst so it’s a lot more fun!” Winning is fun and losing sucks 😢😢 But never even having a chance to play makes people want to change the game entirely. So this brings me to my main point. Think about it for a moment, what games are you designed to win? What do you excel at that others don’t? Do you lean into that or are you still playing games you have no shot at winning?

Now that our communication and processing of information has aligned with/joined our soul (the Sun) in the sign of courageous action it’s important to be careful of lashing out and saying things you don’t mean. The Aries intensity and impulsivity towards action can end up getting us into trouble if we’re not aware of it. With that said, this is a FANTASTIC transit for spreading our message and telling the universe what we want to have happen. We can literally begin creating (Aries) our desired reality (Sun) through our words (Mercury). ⚠️ This transit does cut both ways though ⚠️ If we’re focused on spreading negativity or doubt with our words and thoughts the universe will also deliver us that brutal reality. It doesn’t care. Our inputs (words & thoughts) directly create our outputs (lived experiences). This is an amazingly powerful transit for materializing deepest thoughts and desires! And it all starts with the words we say 🗣️

Last week we had the New Moon in Aries with the Sun + Venus and this week Venus has entered its home sign of Taurus! ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Venus – relationships, beauty, value systems, luxury Moon – emotions, the mind, intuition, our inner world, emotional safety New Moon – fresh start, internal reset, introspection creating a new beginning, death and rebirth Aries – ACTION, initiation of & creation of movement, courage, raw pioneering energy, high energy, determination, warrior-like spirit Sun – vitality, leadership, authority, power, creativity, self-expression, the soul ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Our inner-emotions (Moon) and core self (Sun) have been getting a boost of action-focused energy from Aries while our value systems (Venus) were adjusting to give us the support required in this new cycle of universal energy. With Venus now in the strong, convicted, and slower moving sign of Taurus our value system is starting its own journey of growth and expansion. We're slowly and steadily beginning to move forward with this new support/value system. The universe put us in the fire (New Moon + Sun + Venus in Aries) to burn away the old so that we can slowly begin the process of growing in beautiful new ways! New growth doesn't happen instantly... it takes time. A huge part of Venus being in Taurus is understanding beautiful things take time to create. It's super important to start replacing the pressure of "the rush" and "right now" for slow and steady progress. We're all experiencing the multi-year journey called life, and the end destination FOR ALL OF US is death. Rush is literally imaginary. There is no escaping Saturn's ring. Things unfold exactly as they should. We're here to enjoy the ride. So, take a breath. Breathe deep. Enjoy the air. The life we're living is beautiful and Venus in Taurus is here to remind us.

This transit is telling us we're tired because we're "focusing" on too much. The Moon is requesting honesty about how much we're truly capable of taking on at our current stage. Our Sun (soul) and Venus (value systems) have been through the Pisces --> Aries transition, and now the Moon (our inner world) is going through the same thing. It's time to eliminate the things that aren't needed right now. We can always revisit them in the future when we're further along our journey and have more capacity. Focus on keeping the main thing the main thing. Everything else will fall into place. We're building slowly. There is no rush!
