Hello World, I mean Skool.
I'm thrilled to be joining this amazing community! Just created my own community and now diving into the Skool Community classroom courses to check that out. It's my first time stepping into the spotlight with this post, and I'm excited yet a bit nervous. Any veteran members have some advice for a newbie like me? Can't wait to connect and learn from all of you! 🌟

Welcome! My best advice is to be active in here and other communities. That's my favorite thing about Skool, is the networking opportunities.
How can we badge our paying members?
I run a decent sized free and paid group. I’m curious if there’s any feature planned in the future like a badge or similar to differentiate the paid students within the free community? Morning thoughts 🤔

I asked something similar a few weeks back. We really need that! I hope we get it soon
Tips for Good Audio?
Is there a best practices method for recording good audio? I have a Yeti, but it picks up the fans and other electrical signals. Here is what I've tried: Rubber pads on the clamp to the desk Turning off everything possible Not using LED lights anywhere Pop Screen Running audio through filters afterwards to reduce 60hz hum What I haven't tried yet: External hardware filters Better sound cards Some people's audio sounds so good, what am I doing wrong?

@Aaron Nelson I think it was some really good marketing and some audio "gurus" spreading it around

I haven't heard the fly story before. That was fantastic

How many Skool groups are you in? 🤔 Yesterday I shared a training inside my free Skool group sharing how to best use communities for creating business opportunties. I have never been a fan of "fishing" for clients in other peoples group, and it is not a method I use or teach (I am more a fan of growing your own audience). But I have seen people have massive success over the years from using online communities to build real relationships. I have passed countless opportunties to my community members from introductions, to clients, speaking to stage, podcast interviews and more. But these all went to people who I got to know as a human from their interaction in my communities. and I've seen many opportunties and collaborations created from my community members. I have never seen opportunties go the people who only pop up when there is a chance to talk about what they do, or share their links (I always find it funny how those people never miss these posts but are awol the rest of the time 🤪) So my advice to my group yesterday was to focus on 2-3 free Skool groups that you really like so you can go deep. And I said to not waste time or energy in groups you don't vibe with (even if that meant leaving mine). and to not play the superficial or transactional game. But instead to focus on groups where you actually want to spend time having conversations and getting to know people. On this note I'd be interested to hear: How many Skool groups are in you in, and how many of those do you actually spend time in? 🤔

You are totally right! I am in 20+ groups and I spend most of the day giving out value and helping where I can by answering questions and chatting with cool people. I am in the process of clearing out and leaving all the ones I don't vibe with.
