Here are the top 3 business lessons:
Don't expect things to come quickly.
Business is a long-term game, enjoy the micro things and plan the macro
Love the process and the output will take care of itself. Trust in a higher power to take care of your business finances and stop worrying. Money doesn't come to you because you're in financial insecurity.
2. Stick with one thing and only one thing
I switched business models 4-5 times within the last 3 quarters of this year alone, bad mistake. Only now do I realize... just stick with one thing and do it for a very long time. Until you have enough data to make a justified decision to change or pivot
3. Your business doesn't work if you don't work
Work on myself before the business. Because if business does not work, I don't work. I can grind all I want, if I don't take time to stay mentally & emotionally sane, the business will die as a result. But also there's a time to ignore how you feel and stick to the plan.
These are the 3 biggest lessons I've learnt (the hard way unfortunately) in business, and let's see what I learn more in the next quarter of the year.
