Sad times 😪😥😢😭
OK so the worst has happened. I knew this time would come eventually as my wrx is 30 years old at 150,000ish kilometres. At some point I believe this happens to all subarus so I was prepared , it still smarts though .
A couple of days ago I was doing an oil change in preparation for a big subaru run with a couple of my local subaru clubs joining forces.
Upon inspection of the oil post drain , I have found some ultra fine metal particulate, not alot (not that quantity really matters) but it's there all the same .
I assume this means my big end bearing shells are wearing & as I don't fancy shooting a rod through my closed deck ej20g , I shall have to decommission the_predator_gc8 until I can have a rebuild done .
Gutted 🙄😮💨☹️
So in a bid to raise funds for the build I shall be liquidating some parts I had stashed up for a bugeye install in the future , there's a few gems 💎 hidden in my shed that I'll get photographed and listed in the "fo sale" section
Until then I'll get back to crying like a baby 👶 😢.
