Here’s what I did to make the most of it:
✅ Stayed Curious: When she mentioned the current property was already under contract, I didn’t hang up! I asked if she had other properties to sell or if she knew anyone else who might be selling.
✅ Planted the Referral Seed: I mentioned our referral program ($2K–$5K per closed deal!) and made sure she knew I value quality, not cutting corners.
✅ Focused on Building Trust: By respecting her wishes for the property and taking the time to listen, I left a great impression—even though the deal wasn’t mine this time.
