Miserable people have a zero-sum mindset.
They hate other people's success.
They think it messes up their chances to do something great.
Sitting around at the bar with their friends:
"It should have been me."
"I'm way better than that guy!"
"They just got really lucky and I didn't."
That's why they lose.
Truly excellent people root for others to:
- Make money
- Build a family
- Travel the world
- Get physically fit
- Meet their heroes
- Achieve their goals
- Experience cultures
That's why they win.
