Welcome to the WebDev 1x1 Community! Here everything revolves around web development, i.e. programming for the web, be it on the client/browser side (JavaScript, React, Vue, Angular, HTMX) or on the server side (NodeJs, Next, Astro, Qwik, perhaps also PHP, .NET, Python).
As a web developer, you often feel like you're in a jungle, you've somehow found your way in, but the way out (to the solution, to the finished product) seems to be obscured by all kinds of undergrowth (AKA frameworks and libraries). Which stack do I use, React, NextJS, MongoDB or rather lightweight with Astro, HTMX, Redis? Would I rather reduce client-side JavaScript as much as possible (HTMX) or go all-in with Angular/React/Bootstrap/NextJS? Questions like these should be discussed here, weighed up and perhaps clarified for one or the other.
How can you use the new OpenAI Assistant API? What does the latest AstroJS version bring? Are there any breaking changes in the latest React update? Will jQuery experience a revival after the update?
