My First Post - Introduction/Purpose for the UX Creative Circle

Hello Everyone! My name is Crystal—dog mom, cat mom, & creator of UX Creative Circle. Some of my hobbies include going to the gym (which can be debatable at times!), visiting cafes, & creating! 🧚🏻

I first got into UX design 5-6 years ago, when prior to that I felt what is also known as impostor syndrome. I didn’t think there was a place for me in the design world, but once I discovered UX/UI design, I finally felt like I had found my passion for collaborative and human-centric design. 🥹🎨

I graduated from California State University in 2023 with a B.A. in Communication Design and a minor in Interactive Marketing. Since then, I’ve held two UX Designer roles and am now freelancing while searching for a full-time position. This community was inspired by my own design journey.

My goal for UX Creative Circle is to bring together designers of all levels to empower one another, share knowledge, and provide support. Since finding resources like this can be time-consuming, I wanted to create a “Hub”—hence, "Creative Circle." 🌱
