Struggling with Zoom Meetings and Client Calls
Hey everyone,
I’ve been feeling really hesitant about jumping on Zoom meetings with clients lately. The main reason? My English isn’t as strong as I’d like it to be, and I find it hard to explain my skills and expertise clearly during calls.
It’s not that I lack the knowledge or experience—when it comes to my work, I’m confident in what I do. But when it’s time to communicate that verbally, I feel stuck, nervous, and unsure if I’m making the right impression.
I know that good communication is key to building trust and relationships, especially in freelancing. That’s why I’m looking for suggestions or advice:
  • How can I improve my English speaking skills, especially for professional conversations?
  • Are there any strategies or tools you use to prepare for client calls?
  • Would it be better to try and stick to written communication until I feel more confident?
I’d really appreciate your help or guidance. If you’ve been in a similar situation, how did you overcome it?
Thanks in advance! 😊
