Hey everyone,
I’ve been feeling really hesitant about jumping on Zoom meetings with clients lately. The main reason? My English isn’t as strong as I’d like it to be, and I find it hard to explain my skills and expertise clearly during calls.
It’s not that I lack the knowledge or experience—when it comes to my work, I’m confident in what I do. But when it’s time to communicate that verbally, I feel stuck, nervous, and unsure if I’m making the right impression.
I know that good communication is key to building trust and relationships, especially in freelancing. That’s why I’m looking for suggestions or advice:
- How can I improve my English speaking skills, especially for professional conversations?
- Are there any strategies or tools you use to prepare for client calls?
- Would it be better to try and stick to written communication until I feel more confident?
I’d really appreciate your help or guidance. If you’ve been in a similar situation, how did you overcome it?
Thanks in advance! 😊
