4 Months Eating Plant Based With ZERO Alcohol Or Sugar.
Over 4 months now eating only plant based, no alcohol and no sugar. So many people chimed in saying it was a “really bad” idea!
What I’ve found though is that I’ve shed a lot of fat and inflammation and I’m feeling damn good.
I haven’t done any bloods but I have been tracking the basics using a WHOOP and my stats look great. My RHR (resting heart rate) is in “Athlete territory” for my age.
Also have been doing at least 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups and 20 pull ups every day.
What I have found “annoying” is figuring out what to eat and making it. Don’t get me wrong… there’s a TON of great options. I just like to be basic though. I’m a steak and eggs kinda guy.
Definitely have developed a love for my new favorite breakfast of brown toast with peanut butter, quinoa crunch, blueberries and avocado. HUEL Black has been a life saver. I have about 3 of those a day, each packs 40g of protein.
To anyone thinking about going plant based, or like me, doing it for 6 months to see how the “other side” live, I’d definitely recommend it.
There’s ZERO doubt in my mind that I’m healthier now than I was 4 months ago. So that’s my spiel for today! Take from it what you want.
