I recently did something that used to be uncomfortable for me before internalizing the principles from this book. I went to meet with an apparel contractor and let him know that the prices they are currently paying are too low for me and I don't see a future with their company. Being the old me, I would've beat around the bush about the topic and not really be clear with what I want to say because it would make me uncomfortable to make the person in front of me uncomfortable. This time I was direct, clear & honest with the message and it actually paid off. The vendor appreciated the clarity and honesty & we're still friends.
Would you want to share something you have done or would like to start doing that is typically uncomfortable but can result in positive outcomes in the long-term ? Let me know in the comments!
