This is a community for fellow newbie screenwriters who want to collaborate and workshop ideas with other cool, new screenwriters from across the world.
How does it work?
- Weekly online zooms to suit all time zones
- Each member has an opportunity to bring an idea to the room (it can be a logline, story bible or a line of dialogue)
- Together we brainstorm and outline each others' ideas
- Each member has the opportunity to play showrunner and lead the room
- We operate on a principle of good faith so any projects a writer brings to the live writers' room belong to that writer
Why should you join?
As a newbie screenwriter, it's easy to feel intimidated so my hope is this is a sanctuary that feels very equal, open and fun for everyone who participates.
