In the grand scheme of things, the perimeter in which I traveled was quite small, nevertheless I learned a lot.
TLDR; I worked for a survey company (in their aerial division) and traveled all over the United states at 19/20 years old.
I was lucky enough to be offered a chance to interview with a massive survey company within the USA at only 19 years old. Due to my ambition and problem solving experience, as well as a solid reputation, I was offered a job (admittedly well outside my comfort-zone) to operate a system of cameras and sensors in the back of an airplane at an extraordinarily young age.
This job allowed me the opportunity to hone my problem solving and my ability to work under pressure. A different hotel, in a different city, in a different state, every night, for two weeks at a time. Quite the life. There several places I got to visit that I enjoyed and would revisit on my own dime. Similarly, there are plenty of places I will never go back to again.
10/10 would go again:
Hot Springs, AR
Taos, NM
Orlando, FL
0/10 Won’t catch me there:
Lamar, CO
Hobbs, NM
Clovis, NM
Ardmore, OK
