Tip: Use the Pomodoro Technique for tasks that require high concentration.
How: Remove all distractions, brain dump all your todos, decide on what you are going to focus then start a timer for 25 minutes.
Work for 25 minutes, then take a break for 5.
During the break, make sure to stand up, move, ideally go outside to get some fresh air and sun on your face, let your mind wander. Do not look at your phone or TV.
🔥 4 sessions means 100 minutes of focus work! 🔥
After 4 cycles, take a longer 15-30 minute break.
⏱️ Tool: Pomofocus.io (avoid using your phone as a timer, you'll get distracted!) Why it's great: It keeps your brain fresh and reduces burnout by balancing work phases with rest. You are letting your hippocampus do its work, and it's great for your memory and productivity!
We are doing a Pomodoro Co-working session today at 10:30am MDT. Join us if you want to get some focus work done!
