Mail list vs Skool
This is a genuine question. :D
I have a weekly newsletter that goes to 1K people for now. But I have 85K on Instagram and I might make 10K people sub to my newsletter if I really want to. Mailerlite charges $47 for 10K subs.
After noticing you can do your announcements here and send a notification to all members, I thought to myself, what's the point of having an e-mail list then?
Of course the whole point is owning your own audience but owning a community started to sound more logical to me.
What are the pros and cons? Shall we discuss? Thank you all in advance.
