Have you heard of SB 1047? SB 1047 is a bill that was introduced in the California State Legislature that aims to regulate advanced AI models. Third party audits starting January 2026 are being proposed, as well as granting the Attorney General access to documents upon request. Elon Musk said, "This is a tough call and will make some people upset, but, all things considered, I think California should probably pass the SB 1047 AI safety bill."
