The last three months have felt like trying to solve a Rubik’s cube while blindfolded—nothing’s quite clicking. I’m the type who likes to think things through from every angle, so I don’t just jump into things without a plan (aka I overthink everything). But recently, my Instagram (@wbrpool) has been throwing me a bone. I hit 200k views on a few pool trickshot videos, and for a moment, I felt like a celebrity in the world of cue sports!
But here’s where it gets tricky—getting people from "wow, cool trickshot!" to actually checking out my about page and joining my free pool community. It’s like I’m throwing a party, but everyone’s just hanging out on the porch, not coming inside.
A few months back, I rebranded my account from a political right-leaning page to focus on pool, something I’m actually passionate about (because pool is way less stressful than politics, right?). It seemed like a genius move at the time, but now I’m wondering if that was the right move...
Let me know what you think!
