How can We unite? Most of Us are victims of forced family separation and still languish in some degree from the losses of not ever uniting, or not ever knowing your family tree, or not ever experiencing all the love that fortifies members of families, or from not ever feeling close or feeling a sense of belonging to Our families. What Our most basic commonality as Black people in America is, is that We were treated like animal cargo, packed in the bottoms of ships, or We were chased of Our land, tied to stakes and roasted alive, or just brutally murdered in hundreds of tortuous ways. We are from many different tribal backgrounds of African and Native American ancestry, which We are mostly unfamiliar with. We do know that Our ancestors were mostly believers in God. Whether We know God by the titles like The Divine, The Source, The Lord, My God, The Universe, The Creator, or by a name such as Jehovah, Yahweh, Elohim, Ogun, OloDumare, Allah, Jah, Amon-Ra, etc., We know God. We are not confused about the fact that We have but one God, and that We are to maintain this very important relationship with God. Why is it very important to maintain a relationship with God? That's a good question. I will start a discussion board for this question right now. SHARE WHAT YOUR RELIGIOUS OR SPIRITUAL ORIENTATION IS. No judging.
