First Time giving my pitch and wow.....sorry BNI

I came across my notes when I went to a BNI group my first time and had to share this! I got invited by a friend and as I drove there, I practiced my 30 second schpeel over and over again. Having so much confidence, I was ready!

I went in, sat by him, and listened to BNI intro stuff. They then put on the board how to give a pitch and i immediately got theown off. When it was my turn, I said my name, what I did, then stumbled over my words going from what I practiced to what they said I should say.

Lo and behold, the timer went off and I ended with "and yeah, this guy invited me " 🙈

Stage fail for me! But I learned that we all are at our own stages. And we all are learning. So learn from my stage fail like I did and keep moving forward!
