When you see a shop video doing well…

for a product you wouldn’t mind making a video for, bookmark it or send it to yourself so you won’t lose it. Try to get a sample. Then examine their video. Their hook, text hook, setting, scene changes, transitions between scenes, call to action, etc.

Be a detective for a few minutes then when your sample arrives, try to replicate it as best you can and hopefully put your own spin on it.

I’ll also look at their other videos because theirs a good chance they’ve made a number of videos on the same product. Maybe even another video that’s done better… then go learn from that one.
