Website ➡️ WebApp
Webflow is a powerful tool for building websites. Many businesses, from small to large, are looking for their websites to be built using Webflow, because of it's performance and flexibility. Beautiful websites can be made quicker, and easier to collaborate on with the client.
But Webflow only works as a front-end, meaning the data on it is static. For it to be dynamic, it needs to have a back-end. This is a database, like an excel spreadsheet, where many functions can be performed, including create, read, update, and delete (CRUD). The low-code backend that I use and recommend is Xano.
For example, let's say the user puts in their email and password. That email and password is sent from the front-end (Webflow) to the back-end (Xano), which sees if it is a match to what is stored in the database.
But how does that information get sent from Webflow to Xano? Imagine a restaurant. Webflow is the customer at the table, and Xano is the kitchen, preparing the data for the customer. The only thing missing, is a waiter to communicate between them.
Wized is the waiter, moving between Webflow and Xano, providing the logic so that we can go from Website to WebApp. Platforms, dashboards, marketplaces, courses - the use cases are numerous, which means you can solve a lot of problems for your clients.
If you are already a Webflow designer, you are halfway towards becoming a WebApp developer. Check out my Loom video to see me go through Webflow, Wized, and Xano - the WWX stack!
