Why on Earth would I tell her to stop trying to make money online?
Because it will actually help you make money online...
Here's what happened...
A few months ago, Jan (name changed to protect the innocent) came to me because she had been trying to make money online for a few years.
She purchased a number of courses, some cheap and a couple really expensive ones, and nothing was working.
The client thought that her content was at least as good as her rivals, which turned out to be false.
Her content was faceless, emotionless, and basically a sales pitch that went something like this...
Buy, buy, buy, buy
Why haven't you bought yet?
Call to action to buy one more time.
Once I looked at the content, I learned who she'd worked with, why it wasn't working, and what we needed to do.
We needed to make content that solved a problem
So here's what we did
We identified her interests.
We found questions people were asking based on her interests.
We made content that ANSWERED those questions.
And it WORKED.
Which means she got more views, followers, and most importantly, MADE MONEY
Moral of the story: If you want to make money, stop trying to make money
Find people to help, and the money will follow (quickly)
