A must have app on any phone or laptop
An absolute must have app that I install on any new phone or laptop when I get it is Cloudflare WARP.
We live in an age where we're fighting a daily battle with data security. WARP helps add an extra layer to that, and it's free.
Essentially, WARP is a VPN, but not a VPN in the way that you see your favourite YouTuber promoting it. It won't let you choose a country to VPN to, it won't ask you for a username and password, or to sign up or try and upsell you on anything.
It's just a VPN that hides your traffic from your service provider, and gives you a better and faster route out into the world.
I use it even at home, but definitely when I work in a coffee shop, or on anyone else's network. It's far too easy for my traffic to be exposed and subsequently hacked or inspected. WARP offers some protection around that.
Not only that, but your ISP might not have some of the best routes in their BGP tables, and Cloudflare, one of the largest networks in the world does. So you benefit from better routing, which ultimately gives you a better internet experience.
