Would you punch your girlfriend or kill your pet?
I was gonna write this as a comment for Zain's new NNN video but I realized that this is huge and I could make it a post too.
Every time you watch porn you're basically punching your girlfriend in the face. Imagine that bro, would you ever willingly do that for fun? If you don't have a girlfriend, imagine your future wife. Would you enjoy punching her in the face repetitively for fun? I would never punch my girlfriend in the face because there are immediate consequences that are apparent to me. She'll start crying. She won't trust me anymore. She'll leave me and I'll be single and alone. Even though I get weird intrusive thoughts of having the ability to completely overpower her and seriously hurt her, I don't even think twice to indulge in that thought. If you have a girlfriend you may realize that fact too, that you are significantly stronger than her and you could really put her in the hospital or kill her if you wanted. But of course unless you're a deranged murderer you would never do that.
I could go over to my cat right now and stomp on her and she'll fucking die, which is a weird intrusive thought, but I would never entertain that thought because I don't want to see my cat dead. I don't want to hear it scream and I don't want my family to come home and break down in tears and think of me as a murderer.
Why do I say this awful shit? Because when you look at it this way you realize that most of porn is a phycological battle rather than just primal urges. The battle of control over your primal urges is so easy. But watching porn is not a natural primal urge. If I feel like I need to go for a fap it's because I have an addiction not because I'm actually that horny.
You're not that horny bro that's the truth. If your sex drive and was actually so strong that you couldn't control it, you'd be raping girls in class. If you had no control over yourself you'd be killing your cat the moment it agitated you like I said before. Primal urges to fight and fuck and do these other habits that aren't socially acceptable are so easy to control. If you really couldn't control them you would jump out the car the moment you thought "damn bro, i could really just open the door and jump." But you are more intelligent than that. Your conscious is stronger than that
Yet you watch porn. You are doing the equivalent of punching your girlfriend in the face repetitively but you don't actually believe it because you don't see the long term consequences. You don't see the demons that she battles every night thinking that she's not good enough. Cuz it's not just your head bro, she gets the intrusive thoughts too. She knows you could punch her and overpower her. She knows that you can go cheat on her whenever you want. So she gets really really scared when she knows you watch porn, even if she doesn't consider it cheating. You need to visualize your relationship deteriorating because you didn't put in the work to change your habits.
You need to see the long term consequences and actually believe it. You may not think it now, but you could become a pedophile from watching porn. And don't think that you're above this bro, if you have a porn addiction you are putting yourself at risk of becoming a pedophile. You are putting yourself at risk of becoming a sex offender. Nearly all sex offenders are obsessed with porn that's not a coincidence. You could get a divorce from watching porn too. Look it up bro, porn obsession is a common factor in over half of divorces. Your chances of divorce are doubled when you watch porn, because your indulgence in sex makes you crave it more, and when your wife doesn't give you enough you start looking elsewhere.
Never think it's not that bad. Watching porn is pretty much a one way ticket to ruining your life. It's the equivalent of jumping out of a moving car on a highway.
