How do you interview cleaners to asses their skills and techniques?
This is highly important , even for those how don’t plan on doing any cleaning . As a cleaner I find it important to know what products to use , what tools, and equipment to use . Don’t depend on a cleaner to just know and be able to go do great work for your company because at the end of the day it’s your company!
For me some of my interview questions continue asking /showing how they would clean a shower full of soup scum , how to clean a oven , how to clean a cooktop , what rooms would they can first , how they start cleaning what’s their process of cleaning . What products would they use on marble , hardwood , would they use a self cleaning oven feature . What type of vacuum they use , mops and ask why .
I would ask these questions because hiring subs you cant legally train them , I don’t need anyone that doesn’t know what they are doing it screams liability issues, bad reviews etc.
If there are some questions you ask please add them.
If you don’t know how to clean certain things safely please learn out fires before they come by being proactive!
