URGENT Question for y'all about Rishab's Research Plan video: PLEASE ANSWER ASAP

Hey guys,

I had a question about the research plan instructions by Rishab in his Research Plan video for science fair. For the rationale, Sahil Sudd talks about how to write a proper rationale, and I wondered if it is it okay to look at your problem from a global standpoint, but discuss that you are "pursuing this research project" for a different other reason other than "to better the quality of people who face this disease (or problem) (neurodegenerative diseases specifically as Sahil gives the example)"?
