Recommended budget for beginners in tier 2/3 countries

I recently started running affiliate offers on mgid. I have been getting some okay results but no profit.

Do you think it is because I spend like 20 dollars a day per campaign?

I'm running nutra affiliate offers with landers from the affiliate network, is that beneficial or not?

I track every kpi,os,geo,browser, but it doesn't get profitable. Do I just have to keep trying or is there something that I should do differently.

Would greatly appreciate some help.
