Poké Post Campaign revealed with special promos
On the 18th of November (so in 3 days) The Pokemon Company International is launching a new campaign called Poké Post in the UK, France and Germany. This is a limited-time promotion running on specific dates and at specific locations until the 19th of December 2023.
Basically, you can visit a Poké Post mailing office (picture attached) to receive a special Pokémon Trading Card Game gift, and one to send to a friend via postcard.
They even made a special website for the promotion:
When and where this is happening:
How it works:
Come down to our Poké Post Mailing Office, collect a Pokémon Trading Card Game gift, address your envelope, slip it through the Poké Post counter, and then receive your own gift pack to take home and keep! Strike your best pose in the photo areas and meet Pikachu or Eevee at scheduled times throughout the day.
Once in the queue, you will be given the choice of either a Pikachu or Eevee themed envelope containing a corresponding Pokémon Together promo card inside, together with a Pokémon Scarlet & Violet fun pack. Meaning there’s one themed gift pack for you, and the other for the special Trainer in your life!
Pretty cool promotion and I love that they are doing more of these in the EU!
PS: If you don't have anyone to send the card to, why not send it to a community member who can't go! Drop a comment if you would like to send or receive a card to/from someone.
I will be going to a Poké Post mailing office!
I want to go, but can't make it

Pokemon is so good in keeping the next generation interested in the franchise. It's things like this that will give kids nostalgia when they grow up, and get them back into collecting the cards they loved as a kid (which for us are now modern cards ^^)

Cardiff happens to be a short drive from me AND I happen to be on a week off that week. From an investment standpoint do we see much value on these? Would be a long term hold like all of them purchases :)

Considering the promos have a unique stamp it does make them collectible, and the fact that you can only get these during specific dates and have to actually show up to a physical location are extra barriers which means less people will have these cards. On the other hand I don't think the art for these promos are unique, as in this art has been used for Eevee and Pikachu cards in previous sets. Always hard to look into the future to know what these cards will do, but if you're in the area, why not pick them up :)

if you have possibility, why not. It will always be a 100% win when you sell, as the card was free.
