Feeling stuck
Hi everyone, not asking for a job nor anything other then coaching & guidance. My app is approved and I’m studying for PMP. I’m a career pivoter like so many but with tangible project manager experience.
I feel so stuck just trying to get an interview for a project coordinator role. I know project management has exploded in interest (making more competition maybe) but any advice on building community/mentors/PM network?
I joined my PMI local chapter with minimal success in building quality connections, most want me to pay to just chat on LinkedIn to network organically, honestly most PM don’t feel interested in connecting (they probably get approached a lot in my opinion based on my few discussions).
I’m reflecting on how I can recalibrate once I have my PMP. Feeling discouraged and trying to find the light in the darkness of my career transition. Andrew R. content has been a lighthouse for me! Thank you for all who read this.
