Hey Unfolder,
How are you? Good start to the week so far?
Last week was a bit of a strange one for us, we had a bunch of our small team on holiday so it felt very quiet despite a lot of things happening!
Myself and Hilde, one of the other co-founders, spent an afternoon making little introduction videos to Unfolded for potential new customers. You can laugh at how awkward we were here… Including some of our bloopers! We’re really pushing to introduce more people to Unfolded and drive change in this industry quicker, even if that means we’ve got to do things like this which take us outside of our comfort zone - which these defo did!
🙌🏼 Product Update
Our Anita dress is now pretty much sold out - I think we’ve only got 5% of the fabric left for this! So today most likely is the last day you have to snatch this up! Snap up the last Anitas here. The Ella Trousers in navy and green are also now flying off the proverbial rails and why wouldn’t they? They’re a gorgeous material and super comfy with the tie waist! Order your Ellas here. 🧵 Production Update
Orders for C07 have now entered production and for those of you that have ordered we’ll be sending a more detailed update later this week - keep an eye on those emails! 🌎 Impact Update
We’ve got a meeting with our impact partner Pratham tomorrow to catch up on the impact your orders have been making on children in India, and look to share more of the stories from the kids supported to date!
😔 ‘It’s Like A Death Pit’
How some of the residents of Korle Lagoon in Ghana describe it due to the mountains of clothing waste dumped there every year! Yesterday The Guardian released this truly horrifying piece that I think everyone should read about the dumping of clothing waste in Ghana. Most of this is second hand clothing but again the problem here starts with overproduction… Please take 5 minutes to read the article here. Any questions feel free to just reply to this email and we’ll be happy to help!
