When we explain AI and the infrastructure it requires to run locally, we try to keep it simple.
There are 4x distinct levels or layers 0-⬜️ 1-🟥 2-🟨 3-🟩, that need to be taken care of - if you want to operate an AI infrastructure within your IT environment - Have a look at the picture and description and you will understand - very basically - why those layers are connected and why operating all layers professionally is important for the reliability of your AI tools.
BLUEPRINT
The blueprint is designed to offer a structured, layered approach to AI business enablement, IT support, and hardware lifecycle management, with each level providing progressively more advanced services tailored to business needs, from infrastructure to strategic AI initiatives.
➡️⬜️ LEVEL 0: Hardware and Additional Hardware-Related Services 🥱
This level deals with physical IT infrastructure and its lifecycle management:
• Hardware (On-Prem/Cloud): Includes servers, storage solutions (DAS, NAS, SAN), networks (LAN, WAN, WiFi), cybersecurity, backups, and recovery. Also includes client devices like PCs, laptops, and smart devices.
• Additional Hardware Services: Covers purchasing and delivery of IT equipment, hardware rollout and rollback, data center relocation, and certified data destruction.
➡️🟥 LEVEL 1: Software and Support 😀
Two key areas are outlined in this level:
• Software: Covering server and client applications, subscriptions, and licenses, along with security and data protection.
• Support: Including IT infrastructure analysis, hardware/software support, license management, asset management, and documentation.
➡️🟨 LEVEL 2: Value Add Services 😄
This level provides ongoing services to ensure efficient operations and compliance:
• 24x7 Monitoring and Monthly Reporting, ensuring timely projections and planning.
• Service Level Agreements (SLA), offering different levels of response time, such as NBD (Next Business Day) and CTR (Critical Time Response).
• GDPR Compliance and data security protection.
➡️🟩 LEVEL 3: Strategic AI Business Enablement 🤩🔥🚀
This level focuses on strategic initiatives to integrate AI within business processes, aiming for long-term business alignment and governance. Key services include:
• AI Analysis and Workshops to understand AI’s relevance for business.
• AI Objectives & Long-term Business Strategy development, focusing on AI talent building.
• Data Science Services, including data restructuring, standardization, and labeling.
• AI Data Training and Ethical Considerations, with governance to ensure responsible AI use.
