“It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows.” – Epictetus
We often say, "I already know that." It feels good to believe we’ve mastered something. But here’s the catch:
The moment you think you know everything, you stop learning.
Why?
- You stop listening.
- You stop questioning.
- Worst of all, you stop growing.
Wisdom isn’t about knowing everything—it’s about constantly seeking understanding. As Einstein said, *“The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know.”*
True wisdom starts with humility. Recognize that the world is full of perspectives and knowledge you’ve yet to explore. But when we cling to our beliefs as absolute truth, we close ourselves off, becoming stagnant and ignorant.
So, let go of the need to always "know." Put your ego aside and say, "I don’t know."
