Hi Team - I am working for banking customer to provide data solution on the Fabric. The scenario is they have head office in the UK where IT team is located, but maximum business is located in the EU (France, Germany and Poland). They want to keep data in EU region as per GDPR and processing of the data will be in UK carried by UK IT team. This can be achieve by creating two different tenants one on UK and other in any EU region and shortcuts can be created in UK tenant to refer the data located in EU. But since volume of the data is large in that case how Shortcut performance will be? for e.g. if we want to do Spark processing on data referred by shortcuts, then that processing will be done in UK tenant but does intermediate data stores in UK tenant and what about performance? Since once tenant is created by default Onelake gets created for that tenant, is there any ways we can avoid that creation of onelake for UK tenant to ensure no data gets store on UK tenant?
Any guidance on this will be helpful
