Limitations of Capacities Below F64
I imagine many of you are using the Microsoft Fabric Trial. As many articles indicate, this trial is equivalent to the F64 capacity. I understand that there are limitations for any capacity below this level, and you can find them across different articles, but I haven’t seen one that summarizes them clearly and directly.
Here are some of the limitations I’m aware of:
  • You cannot use Power BI content, semantic models, reports, etc.
  • You cannot create Workspace Identities directly from Fabric (although I understand they can still be managed from Azure).
  • You cannot create private connection links to resources behind a VPN in Azure.
  • Deployment pipelines seem to have some type of limitation, but I’m unsure whether it’s specific to Power BI items or applies to all Fabric items.
Does anyone know of other limitations or have experience working with capacities below F64 that they’d like to share?
