In a clip from the MOA Podcast posted yesterday, I noticed a pattern when it came to the women's responses on the panel. When they are unable to refute a point/fact that one of the men said during the discussion, they deflect by claiming "You could've said it nicer" or "You're being rude" or some other bullshit along those lines.
Using this strategy, they derail the conversation by focusing on the "tone" of what was said instead of the content, which allows them to have an argument about feelings and emotion.
The men on the panel handled it masterfully, and being honest, it gets frustrating when every panel with women on it gets derailed repeatedly by them trying to police the speech of the men they disagree with.
Funnily enough, the men on the panel speak the exact same way to each other as they do to the women, yet this continues to happen.
I've linked the video in question. Have you noticed the same thing? Is this an issue that will plague podcasts forever or is there a way to mitigate it?
