Well this title is very attention-grabbing. Maybe it is a punch in the gut, but this is why your business sucks:
- You suck
- You suck
- You suck
Sorry but I said it.
You don't get to say your business is failing.
You are.
You are the business, a business is not a real or separate thing.
It cannot exist without you.
If it can, it is not a business, it is an enterprise.
Most of you aren't at that level.
So, you kept reading even after I told you that you suck?
You are a real G, and you deserve the value I am about to throw at you.
So, why does your business (you) suck?
One of the most important things in business is how people perceive it.
Presentation is everything. People mostly judge books based on the cover.
Make your cover appealing.
It is about BRAND IMAGE.
Focus on branding, not just throwing out your line hoping for a hook.
The better the branding, the higher the perception of your business.
My mentor just helped me to understand how to level up my business by improving 3 things:
- The brand banner and logo (what people see every time they look you up)
- Your profile picture (what people associate the business with (you)
- Your messaging (write for the person you actually WANT to work with and not for yourself).
Easy ROI there, and for those of you who say otherwise, you must not understand.
Make sure that your branding is on point.
It is worth it to hire a graphic designer/photographer for $200 if it makes you 20k more this year...
Better presentation = more perceived value = more sales.
No mugshots, make your profile pictures professional.
No shitty paint.net art from you wannabe artists. Hire a pro. And make sure when you write, it is for the customer, not you.
Use writing that a 10 year old could understand.
Make it engaging, concise and RELEVANT.
Relevant to what the customer wants.
If the customer doesn't care about it, why would they do what you want?
You must think of what you can give, rather than what to take.
That is the key to business and relationships in general.
Think not of what the world can give to you, but of what you can give to the world.
Stay humble, G.
TL;DR: Go read the post properly- if you don't then this is why your business sucks.
