Problem opposite to the normal one. images in live website but not in elementor

Guys i have spent several weeks trying to solve this to no avail even watching countless videos. here is the problem.

On my live home website page there are duplicated images. when i edit using elementor those images are not showing in elementor so i am unable to delete them.

please note this is the opposite of a normal problem where you have images in elementor but not on a live page. mine is different the images are on live page but i cannot find them in elementor so i can delete them
