Promotion in a new town
Hello. I recently moved to a new county (competitive with many singing opportunities in the communities and local voice teachers).
I want to have a promotion for the new school year but not sure how to go about it.
  • My prices are average or slightly higher than the local teachers' as I have a specialty, certification, and experience.
  • I offer packages that are significantly lower than a single lesson: 4 and 10-lesson packages.
  • I want to attract teenagers and adults that are searching for a slightly different way of learning their craft. I'm a bit unorthodox and very friendly and engaging.
Should I offer the first lesson for half the price? Should I offer the first package at a discount? Should I offer the first lesson for free (I don't like this one for so many reasons. Tried it in the past)?
What would you offer me to do to break into this new market?
Appreciate your advice!
