📋Introduction & Rules
Our goal is to maintain a highly regarded reputation. With that in mind, all members of the coaching club must agree to follow these guidelines and rules. Failure to do so will result in removal from the club.
1. Commitment to Quality Over Quantity: Prioritize valuable contributions that stimulate thought-provoking discussions, share insights, or offer practical solutions. We value depth and relevance over mere frequency of posts.
2. Zero Tolerance for Spam: Any form of spam, including irrelevant or repetitive content, is strictly prohibited. Our focus is on maintaining a clean, professional space for meaningful engagement.
3. No Self-Promotion: To ensure that every conversation remains unbiased and enriching, we do not allow overt self-promotion. Let’s keep our interactions focused on mutual learning and support, not personal gain. (no posting your socials, funnels, paid services. Connect with coaches through LinkedIn or email if you want to proposition them)
4. Respectful and Constructive Communication: Always engage with fellow members respectfully. Constructive feedback is encouraged, but personal attacks, derogatory remarks, or any form of harassment are unacceptable.
5. Focus on Collaborative Growth: Share experiences, strategies, and insights that could benefit others. Our goal is to collectively elevate our coaching through shared wisdom and experience.
6. Avoid Hit Pieces or Negative Targeting: Discussions should never target individuals, teams, or competitors negatively. Let’s maintain a positive, professional environment conducive to growth. Remove names or schools if something negative is being shared.
7. Confidentiality is Key: What’s shared in the club stays in the club. Respect the privacy of your peers and the confidentiality of the information shared within this community. Leadership is lonely and coaches need a tribe to bounce ideas off of, share their struggles, and even proclaim their wins!
8. No Irrelevant Content: Keep discussions focused on topics relevant to our coaching journey and the challenges we face as sports coaches. Irrelevant content dilutes the value of our interactions.
9. Regular Participation: While we don’t mandate constant activity, regular participation helps you and the entire community grow. Share your insights, ask questions, and contribute to discussions as often as you can.
10. Be Open and Receptive: Embrace diverse perspectives and be open to new ideas. The richness of our club comes from the varied experiences and viewpoints of its members. No one is an expert on everything, but everyone is an expert on something & should be willing to share it!
