Facts and Stats:
The biggest moose ever recorded in Canada was taken by a hunter in September 1987 near Favourable Lake, Ontario. The moose weighed an estimated 1,800 pounds (816 kg) and stood over 7 feet (2.1 m) tall at the shoulders. The hunter who took the moose, Walter J.
