3 year olds are feral

I have worked on this piece for several hours (this was a Christmas gift for someone, not a commission) and just when I thought I was about done, just needing to finish up the hand, I decided it was time to brush my teeth before bed and as I was brushing my teeth thinking about how perfect the mouths and ear SPECIFICALLY looked…. I come back (3 minutes later….. to find my 3 year old has scribbled all over their mouths and ear. Specifically. LITERALLY WHY, LILY

ALSO, when I left the room she was halfway asleep under the covers sucking on her thumb. She had to have JUMPED out of bed as soon as I left. Wtf.

safe to say I immediately ordered a kids Art easel on Amazon for Christmas. This will not happen again. I’ve lost so many great pieces to her. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
