Update on SMS outreach and event style CTA.
So I have been running cold sms outreach for a week now.
All I ask them to do is to respond with a first name and email so I can send them the invite to this event. Originally I was getting about 5.5% opt-in rate but as expected it looks like we are having a regression to the mean.
I have sent about 3,300 messages
Had 117 people opt-in (roughly 3.5%) still happy with that on cold leads
I had 17 people show up to my first "event" (i just showed them how to set-up their GMB)
22 People joined my skool group (100+ invites pending)
I didn't really pitch anything on the "event". Just to join the skool community. I did get 3 call bookings from the event though.
The show rate to the events will be interesting to follow. I had 53 opt in for the first one, but 17 show. I sent sms, email reminders, and a personalized video to every single person. The time-zone changes seem to be an issue I had people joining the hour after it started. Any ideas for nurture to show sequence and time zone issues
Following up with all this businesses will most likely be where I make the money.
Trying to figure out how to get these business owners to engage in skool community will be interesting. No sales yet from this campaign which is okay I am patient.
From y'alls perspective any areas you think I could improve.
