Facing a broken world with hope and courage.
Slavery may have been abolished, but the keys to being enslaved are still alive and kicking right across the planet. It has just been allowed to morph and change into a different form. We are now enslaved by a world that revolves around money and profit, measuring our worth by what we’ve got rather than who we are.
I came from a very poor environment, financially. By the time I reached the UK at 15 years old, I already had my values and belief systems deeply embedded in my psyche. Running right through my core was the need to serve. My driving force was to give each individual the reasons why they should look for and gain respect for themselves—whoever they are—and wherever they found themselves on their life journey. This was a tall order for a 15-year-old, but it is what I felt my path was.
