The storm was fierce, and the disciples were certain the boat would sink. Waves crashed over the sides while fear filled every heart. Then Jesus stood and spoke, “Peace, be still,” and the wind and sea obeyed Him. (Mark 4:39) In one moment chaos ruled the water, and in the next moment calm covered it. The storm did not end because the disciples were strong; it ended because Jesus stepped in. Sometimes the greatest change happens when we stop striving and let Him speak into the storm. Where in your life do you need Jesus to step in and speak peace today?

Relationships are not built all at once. They are built in moments. Sometimes it’s the long road of faithfulness — showing up, loving people well, and letting our character speak over time. Other times it’s the small moment right in front of us. ● A word of encouragement. ● A listening ear. ● A quiet prayer for someone who is struggling. Both matter. Have you experienced a moment when someone’s small kindness meant more than they probably realized?

Church people can be clumsy. Our failures don’t define God’s character — they reveal our own limits. The Bible even says some will misrepresent Him: “They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny Him.” — Titus 1:16. But Jesus’ invitation is still true: “Come to Me… and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28. Following God doesn’t remove pain. It means you don’t face it alone. “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” — Hebrews 13:5. He stays in the hard seasons and the good ones. He also gives you what you need to stand and heal. “Put on the full armor of God…” — Ephesians 6:11. You don’t have to understand everything — just be willing to trust enough to start.

The thing, no, Oone thing that has triped me up is another quotation: "The devil is in the details!" So, I naturally. avoided most all details.... 🤔Why, Because the devil was in the details, and I didn't want to go where he was!!! 🤣I know, backswards thinking for certainly, right? 👀When I waas a child, I spoke as a child. But when I grew up...I did not put away all my childish ways! ✅Make note of that because it has cost me a great deal of pain throughout my life. 👀Can you , or will you give us an example of what that might look like? Oh, you ask all the right questions! Thanks, here is one example from my childhood. When ever we went out to play...I know I'm dating myself (back in the fifties) I laways started by taking charge and announcing "Let's play house!" Then i claimied the little boy I had a crush on and tell him: in no uncertain terms: "I'll be the wife, and you'll be the husband! And kids can go out to play!" How ever that programing turned out to be oerverted because that was basically what I had seen demonstrated to me by the adults in my life! They would say : "Okay kids, go outside to play, but be home before the street lights come on!" 🤣So, "Monkkey see, monkey do!' Played an important part in my life. I have come to realize the issue wiith that mental programing and recently drew a line as I was reintroduced to my authentic self as God intended me to be!
