Self Branding 🙏

I've seen a bunch of questions/threads about how to run branding workshops for clients however I am wondering how people went through the process of finding their "Brand". I am not running through a specific process but I have thoughts about the types of styles of slide decks and miroboards but I often get clashed with the inner voice saying "Thats too professional", "thats too casual/fun".

Does anyone have advice/tips/their own experience when it comes to 'creating' your brand/visual of who you are and who you might approach or should I do my thing and approach everyone to see who responds to my style/offering?
