Beginning a Serious Golf Journey
I have received some piecemeal help from Erik as I started learning to play golf over the past 4 years but haven’t taken full advantage of being married to a top golf coach. I always found excuses of being too busy.
I thought I was starting to play better in the 9-hole rounds I play with in the Scottsdale Golf League for Women. Technically I have but after playing at a few different courses over the past couple of months & seeing how much I struggled when I am unfamiliar with a course made me realize that I need to make time to practice 15 minutes a day & take a lesson with Erik once a week.
My goals include:
  • Consistently striking the ball with my wedges, irons & driver as well as improve my control
  • Gaining speed & distance with all my clubs, especially my driver
  • Improving my putting
  • Lowering my score
Right now I typically don’t even keep score because I typically end up with many triple bogeys or higher. I hope you follow along & interact with our posts so you benefit, too!
I’m excited to get going!
