In no way am I a genius or really any smarter than you, nor am I exponentially better than anyone at anything. But I sadly am familiar with one thing, being in debt. Whether it be because we got caught young by the system and have been in debt for years, got injured, at loss of work, some crazy event that was unexpected and set us back, or just because we have been dumb, we may see ourselves in some deep holes financially.
The way credit card companies are set up, is to capitalize off of us and our hardships and in term keeps us in debt when we turn to them for times of absolute need (on average a whole year for every $1,000 dollars you owe). Multi-billion dollar companies working against YOU. Not fair in anyway but it is the reality.
How can we avoid this? insane card interest rates, bankruptcy, predatory loans, or other programs? reality is it can be done on your own but it takes time and knowledge, that of which I can give you only one, not the other.
