Timing

Despite being here since January, I haven't done much progress these past months due to several reasons. But now I'm kind of back on track and planning a new approach on my future on work and life. In my new route I have plans of leaving my actual job by August next year. By then I'd like to have completed a decent part of the course and have an idea of how long could it take to finish it and be ready to start searching jobs on the sector. I might be able to go for a few months without a salary but it's important not to run out of funds if I have to start freelancing.

So, long story short, how long may it take to do the full course and have a decent grip of all the knowledge taught? What may increase or decrease the time? Is it possible to determine? Am I asking an unsolvable question?
